About Me

Sarah, also known as Sarah Jane, is a 20 something sales agent trying to figure out what to do with her life. Type 1 diabetic for 14 years, she also suffers from depression and anxiety. After peaking out at 260 pounds in the summer of 2012, she realized she needed to change her lifestyle. And in the process she realized that living healthier - physically and mentally - helps manage both of her conditions. Her mission is to share her story with others in hopes it will help them lead healthier, happier lives. Sarah has a BA in History from Missouri Southern State University. She has two cats, a psudo Russian Blue named Barnaby and a seal point Siamese named Liah. Sara is an earlier 20 something business student. Also dealing with her own anxiety issues, healthy living is key to success in all aspects of her life. Sara lives with her cat, a black cat named Nala. She's hooked on Victoria Secret Pink and mini sprites.

A handfull of interesting things have been happening around the park these days.

Yesterday, we had a very strange, elderly man with a young, hot wife complain about how our captions were apparently "unacceptable" and "a disgrace to the national parks service and our country" and that he was going to be "sure Mr. Obama hears about this."

Umm...ok....I think that Mr Obama has plenty of other things to worry about, Mister.

I don't even know what he was so upset about, really. Three rangers plus me have watched the movie since, and the captions read perfectly. There must be a glich in the DVD, every so many captions it must mess up or something (we have had other visitors mention it, and haven't been able to replicate it).

Today's excitement consisted of a local farmer's bull escaping into our prarie. He came out with a pickup truck and chased it out of the park. I missed the excitement because I was hard at work on my project over in Admin. Oh well.
